Introduction
Thanks for checkin' out my guide. It's my first one, so bear with me if it's not, well, great. Constructive Criticism is welcomed.
If you're looking for the second build, and the masteries/runes/ect, for it, it's referred to as YGTTD (You gotta try to die).
EDIT: 10/25/10 Added a new build and new masteries to go with it. And edited a few other things.
EDIT: 12/19/19 Nothing new for Mundo for a while... Haven't really updated anything. (Btw, I'm planning on experimenting with DPS Mundo soon.)

Abilities
Adrenaline Rush |
| Pretty good passive. Gives you mad health regen. |
|
Infected Cleaver |
| Your best friend. Deals a percent of their health AND slows them. Good early game, mid game, late game, and hell, even after the game while you're on the way home to see Momma Mundo. Basically, use it when you can, either to last hit minions, harass the enemy, or just... whenever. |
|
Burning Agony |
| Kinda like a Sunfire Cape, but doesn't give you armor, doesn't give you health, and deals damage do you per second you have it active. |
|
Masochism |
| Extra damage at the cost of a few health? I'll take it. |
|
Sadism |
Kinda like being an emo kid. You cut yourself, but you gain hella health regen and move speed.
Use it often. |

Masteries + Runes
http://leaguecraft.com/masteries/3100440132300100000000000000030140000000000
It's just what I use. Don't like it? Don't use it.
Or feel free to take the gist of it, and modify it as you please. Might not get the same results.
As for runes, I like:
Greater Mark of Insightx9
Greater Seal of Resiliencex9
Greater Glyph of Celerityx9
Greater Quintessence of Fortitudex3
It's just what I use. Don't like it? Don't use it.

And use the same runes.

Skilling Order
Just preference. Good for harassing early, and by the time you get into the team fight phase, you'll be good to go.
-
Summoner Abilities
Ghost is, without a doubt, extremely helpful.
As for the second, I prefer
Exhaust.
Somebody has brought to my attention the fact that with Merc's Treads and Burning Agony, they essentially work as Cleanse, so just go with Exhaust.

Items
My usual setup:
First:
Regrowth Pendant (Warmog's is a big thing in this build) and a
Health Potion.
Next trip back: Look at how everything's going. I normally grab a
Ruby Crystal and
Boots of Speed.
Next: Alright, hopefully you've got some gold. Finish your boots (I usually get
Mercury's Treads, but it really just depends on the team. If you still have the cash, grab a
Giant's Belt now. If not, you'll snag it up in a bit.
Neeeext: Finish up
Warmog's Armor if you can. If not, grab
Spirit Visage. Now, you're gonna need to go farm a bit for some cash.
Next: Finish up
Warmog's Armor, assuming you didn't before. If you did, get
Spirit Visage. You'll have some more cash, so grab a
Chain Vest.
Next: Now, depending on the other team, you're gonna get either
Sunfire Cape or
Thornmail. Sunfire Cape is generally what I get here, but if they have an annoying Physical DPS (**Cough**Yi**Cough**) who seems to tear you apart, get the Thornmail so that he'll actually help you kill him. Whichever you get, you get the other right after it.
Finally: I'll honestly be shocked if your game has lasted this long if you've gotten all the items up until now... But, get another
Sunfire Cape.

Negatron Cloak.
Next: Depending on the team, you'll get either a
Banshee's Veil or a [item=Force of Nature]. If they have more CC Spells, get Banshee's, if they just have damaging Magic, get FoN. Either way, once you get the first one, grab the second.
Finally: Yeah, if the game's lasted this long, then... I'm hoping you're winning, but they're putting up enough of a fight that it's taken this long. Finish up with
Guardian Angel. After that, with whatever cash you have, just get Elixir's.

Pros / Cons
Pros: *Ton of health.
*Pretty good armor.
*Bit of MR.
*Can actually do damage, without getting damage-based items.
*Can run like a BOSS if you use your Ult and Ghost at the same time
*Even if you get focused, you can last a while
Cons: *Can't do quite as much damage as other builds.
*Uhm... Teammates get mad if you KS with your Cleaver?
As for YGTTD:
Pros: *Ton of health
*Decent armor
*Ton of MR
*Can do damage with Cleaver/Masochism
*Running like a "racecar"
*Even whilst being focused, it takes a LOT to kill you
Cons: *Not a ton of damage
*Uhh... Not really anything else I can think of
