  • Abilities

    Chosen of the Storm
    Just WOW. This passive is probably one of the best life savers in the game. In your early jungle phase it can save you from the tougher mobs if you get too low and for the rest of the game it serves as a total pain in the ass for the other team.


    Rolling Thunder
    This is a pretty good skill mainly for its utility. The damage output is rather minimal so we take this at level 3 and max it last. The movement speed buff stays the same.


    Frenzy
    Bread. And. Butter.
    This is the skill that will annoy the hell out of the enemy team making them say "oh SHIIIII where ma hp at!" Use it on champions with lower health for maximum effect. Don't panic and use it straight away. It's bonus damage also scales off your HP and your enemies missing HP.


    Majestic Roar
    SCARE THOSE NEUTS. Great for jungling and has a pretty decent slow. Take this at level 2 and max it after Frenzy.


    Thunder Claws
    So-So ultimate. Beneficial to the noobs building AP voli but not really to us. Activate it in every teamfight and you may just pick up an unexpected skill. Still value the extra damage so as with any ultimate level this at 6, 11 and 16.


  • Introduction

    First time guide. Expect mistakes. I welcome feedback.Bear in mind this is a junglers guide. Excuse the pun.

  • Masteries + Runes

    Runes:For Marks I take Greater Mark of Desolation x 9 For Seals I take Greater Seal of Vitality x 9 And for Glyphs I take Greater Glyph of Warding x 9
    The reasoning behind this is as such: The ArP runes couple well with his abilities and auto attacks. Really a no-brainer for a tanky AD. Hp/per level runes will give you good starting health and better survivability mid to end game. And MR runes will give you that extra bit of resilience against those pesky casters.
    My masteries are 21/9/0 focusing in ArP, AD and AS from the offence tree while also taking [mastery=Summoner's Wrath] and MR armor and reduced minion damage from the defense tree while also taking [master=Summoner's Resolve].

  • Skilling Order

    Fairly simple max Frenzy first followed by Majestic Roar and Rolling Thunder remembering to take Thunder Claws at levels 6, 11 and 16

  • Items

    Volibear is probably one of the easiest champions to build. He doesn't take much effort and his build is fairly consistent. Health is a major factor in my item decisions.
    I start of with Cloth Armor followed by 5 Health Potion this is a standard jungler build.
    On my first back I upgrade to Madred's Razors and buy Boots of Speed.
    I then proceed to take the following items to end with my full build
                                          Wriggle's Lantern Warmog's Armor Atma's Impaler                                      Frozen Mallet Berserker's Greaves
    This build is designed to leave at least one item for defense against certain champions. This will change game to game and I can not advise you on what to take.

  • Build Example

    Wriggle's Lantern Warmog's Armor Atma's Impaler Frozen Mallet Berserker's Greaves
    Leaving room for defensive items such as [item=Force of Nature] or Thornmail.

  • Summoner Abilities

    Ghost Smite Ghost will make you run up to that enemy champion like superman on steroids while Smite is a clear jungle ability.

  • Creep Jungling

    Start out at your own wraiths. Follow by taking the lesser golems and wolves. Take blue, wolves wraiths and go back. Take red and then start ganking.
    Pay attention to top as this will probably be the hardest lane for your team to hold.
