• Abilities

  Valiant Fighter

  Ok in numbers it's like this: you have 1000 hp, somebody hits you for 101 damage and it will be reduced to it's 50%, to the half. Nice, huh?

  Devastating Blow

  Basically you activate the skill to hit very strong a champion.

  Paragon of Demacia

  Passive: Upon being hit or attacking an enemy, Poppy's armor and damage are increased for 5 seconds. This effect can stack 10 times. Active: Poppy gains max stacks of Paragon of Demacia and her movement speed is increased for 5 seconds.

  Heroic Charge

  Poppy charges at an enemy and carries them further. The initial impact deals a small amount of damage, and if they collide with terrain, her target will take a high amount of damage and be stunned.

  Diplomatic Immunity

  Poppy focuses intently on a single enemy champion, dealing increased damage to them. Poppy is immune to any damage and abilities from enemies other than her target. Yeah and you deal 20% more damage to the focused champ.

• Introduction

  Hi! I'll try here to show how I play Poppy and why I have success with this build in the summoner's rift. I have been playing Poppy for a year and it's time to tell you why Poppy rules if you follow exactly these details listed below. Have fun!
  
  This way isn't farmer. Poppy feeds herself killing people and enjoys it! So you have to focus on killing your adversary more than killing minions. Of course kill as many as you can, every gold will become usefull items to... kill more people!
  
  About potions and wards... oh my God, are you a coward? Poppy doesn't need healing or mana potions or wards even if you have a stealth character in front of you. You have to be smart and know when back or advance. Be Poppy, you only have in mind two things: your hammer and opponent's head.
  
  "Never chase a Poppy" the elders says. Now I know why. For example: Mind a battle and you gave a lot of damage to Poppy. She starts to run away and you, a hunter, follow her. Suddenly she turns back against you, stuns you and hits your champ's head so hard that the last thing you hear is "First blood" in announcer's voice. Why poppy runs? For Two things: cooldown and to have a good angle to stun you against the wall or any object in the map.
  

• Skilling Order

  It's easy:
  You need to hit strong, then you need to stun your victim and then you'll need to chase/run away:
  Q-E-W
  
  So at lvl 2 you have Devastating Blow and Stun! Go for first blood!

• Masteries

  Poppy is very aggresive, so you need to maxout your attack masteries: 30-0-0.
  
  
  
  
  
  

• Runes

  The runes are the following:
  Marks: 9x Greater Mark of Desolation
  Seals: 9x Greater Seal of Resilience
  Glyphs:9x Greater Glyph of Warding
  Quints:3x Greater Quintessence of Desolation
  
  So this gives you: +25 armor penetration and +13 of both defensive stats. You'll start with a very fine defense and a very nice armor penetration.

• About spells

  You'll need Exhaust and Ignite. The first may be used to escape of a gank or to inmovilize your victim to kill him. The second I use is for end a chase... you use the spell and he dies meanwhile you attack another champ.

• Items

  So here we go:
  
  First of all you start with Doran's Shield. The extra HP, regeneration and armor makes the best item to buy. In second place buy Berserker's Greaves. Buy this way: the boots first and then the dagger. You need attack speed.
  
  After, you have to buy Trinity Force between 19 mins. and 25 mins. This way: 1) Sheen, 2) Zeal and 3) Phage . Then you buy Guinsoo's Rageblade before the 31th minute inclusive. Since the half hour the game turns too kinky for exact views. So this is the core items (yes, only these items :)).
  
  By the way I can tell you wat's next purchase: the good old Phantom Dancer. Cheap and very usefull. To finish you'll need some life steal to keep you alive for massive long combats. Buy The Bloodthirster.
