  • Abilities

    Arcane Mastery
    Great inactive! Allows your Overload to be casted more than 3 times if you get your spells out right, and cools down your ult quickly.

    Nice for laning, Great for nuking, and participates well with your inactive!

    Rune Prison
    Descent snare, good for escaping, or stopping an enemy in their tracks. Aditionally, it has great damage from the mana/AP ratios.

    Spell Flux
    Next worthless with Mana Ryze, Great with AP Ryze.

    Desperate Power
    There are better ultimates. Nice to have around for AoE damage, and an OK heal. But it cools down fast because of your inactive.

  • Introduction

    This guide is my first! Please dont critisize too well. Anyways, I will show you a build that gives you tons of Mana, Lots of AP, and great survivability.

  • Masteries + Runes

    Go for the standard mage masteries of 9/0/21, getting masteries in flash and teleport.  Mag pen in offensive and as much mana regen and cooldown in utility

    For runes, get mana regen seals, mana glyphs, magic penetration marks, and AP per level quintessences.

  • Items

    simple core:

    If you are up against a dps carry, get a

    If against an AP carry

    Now its optional between:

    Bieng focused?

    The last 2 items are really up to you though.

    Start the game with a

    "Hey RYZE08 why the ward?"

    To telport back in lane of course. When your low and your enemy is low you can't just recall and teleport back to your turret, or they will haul it outa there.

    When your low on Hp, put the ward into the bush on either side of the lane, and when you recall and get your stuff, you pop right back into the bush unseen, and its sneak attack time. Besides, It helps keep out those pesky gankers.

    Next upgrade your            into a        and pick up any consumables you need.

    Now that you have your tear, it should be easy mode to get tons of mana.

  • Summoner Abilities

    Definately get




    tele keeps you in lane, and you can get a sneaky tele in some situations that I will explain.

    Flash to get away, jump up to them for a quick nuke, and its usually just required for mages.

  • Pros / Cons

    Pros: Nice harraser Mana or AP, you can nuke strongly early game, Good survivability with your items, Strong nuke, fast cooldown on your q.


    Cons: Nuke isnt as great as other mages. My build relies on you getting mid. shouldn’t be a prob.
