  • Abilities

    Pretty nice "surprise attack" because enemies tend to forget this amazing passive. Gives a little extra kick into your auto attacks.

    Piltover Peacemaker
    This is our bread n butter ability. Use it to clear loads of creeps or to poke at enemy champions

    Yordle Snap Trap
    I love this ability. Its the second skill i max. It helps you get away, initiate, prevent capturing turrets, grabbing health and overall visibility of the champs walking in on it.

    90 Caliber Net
    The slow and pushback can always work out handy, but i feel that the above 2 are more useful to skill up so i leave this at 1 pt from level 4, leveling it last.

    Ace in the Hole
    Great ultimate, what more to say about it? I try and keep this off cooldown. Why? It deals a lot of damage and can also be used as a "get off ma lawn!" shot instead of a finisher.

    Hi Folks! This is my first guide so dont expect a perfect detailed guide in perfect English (im a dutchie, lol)

    I am writing this guide because i wanted to share my way of playing Caitlyn in Dominion, because i seem to be a true powerhouse in there. I would like to point out my inspiration for this : GiRLSTARs Intensely Juicy Caitlyn guide, found here:

  • Masteries + Runes


    Since the fights in dominion are mostly quick and dirty, I am using Offensive masteries:



    Red:    9x  Greater Mark of Desolation                                     (+15 armor pen)
    Yellow: 9x Greater Seal of Evasion                                          (+6.8% dodge)
    Blue:    9x Greater Glyph of Celerity                                        (+8.2% cdr)
    Quint:  9x  Greater Quintessence of Strength                            (+6.8 dmg)

  • Summoner Abilities

    For me there is one required ability here: . Without it, there is a big chance the first battle at top turret is not equal resulting in a more difficult fight for the turret.

    As secondary summoner spell i use one of the two new summoner spells featured in dominion: or .

    Picking either one of these 2 is a matter of preference. If u are bot and want to let the minions push more into their tower, is the way to go. If u want to be more defensive or thwarting enemies ninja-ing one of your turrets, works wonders.

  • Items

    Oh, how i love to start at Dominion! 1375 Gold to start with, yum yum!

    Okay there are several ways to start this, obviously, depending on what (stat) you think of most needed. You can buy  / to give you that extra movement speed, or + another item.

    I am usually using the Boots of Swiftness, because getting to capture points as fast as possible is one of the most important things in Dominion. Let me sum it up for you in a list, more easily to read and to alt+tab to when you are playing already ;)


    At start:

    First trip back:

    If it goes well, buy .
    If not, finish off .

    after that, rush towards . Lots of attack speed and more movement speed, yum yum its a win-win situation for dominion! (always start with getting > > ).

    When you got your , start working your way to , in this order: > > ( if u didnt buy at start, buy it now)

    **Note** If you feel like your staying power is a bit low, you can buy a for some more lifesteal while whacking minions.

    Once you got your , the fun begins. Normally i tend to go for some more speed now, so a falls right into its place.

    *If the enemies are building loads and loads of health, the bow builds into: . This make sure they know you mean serious business, and pain!
    *If the enemies are quite squishy, the bow builds into: [item_icon=Ionic Spark]. Nice aoe dmg and gives your auto attacks a little extra kick together with your Passive Headshot.

    By now the game should be near to ending, but just for the fun of it, time to finish that !

  • Skilling Order

    There is not much to debate about, works every time.

    -edit: made a tiny mistake, should take 90 Caliber Net at level 4 and leave it there-
