• Abilities

  Energize

  Nice Passive. Helps you spam your Spells ( especially your Q)

  Crystal Slash

  Your bread-and-butter Skill. Low mana-cost so spam it like a boss.

  Crystalline Exoskeleton

  Your ganking spell. Pop it to chase down those morons. Also increases your AS and gives you a small shield.

  Fracture

  Dealing low amount of AP dmg. Moreover it will grant you some life-steal / spell-vamp on that Target for the next 6 seconds. Only good early game to clear jungle faster.

  Impale

  Your Ult. If used rigth its pretty awesome. It's kinda like a suppress and a taunt in one spell. Thats freaking awesome but therefore limited on 1,75 seconds. Still enougth to get that Carry rigth into your teams CC / Aoe :) Notes: • All of your abilities can be used during Impale • You can not auto attack during Impale • Being stunned will not stop the suppression but won't allow you to drag the target. • You can NOT use Flash during your ultimate

  Hey guys,
  first of all english is not my native language and I apologize for mistakes (you may blame my english teacher if you want to) :P
  This is my second Guide on Leaguecraft so dont expect to much :D
  I dont think I'm the best or a perfect Skarner player but I have played a lot of matches pretty succesful with him and would like to share my thoughts with you. (Of course LoL is a team-based Game and no guide can promise you to win every game!)
  In my opinion Skarner is an awesome and viable (since Graves Patch) Jungler and is rly fun to play!
  Very often people tell me not to play Skarner cause hes "UP", "useless", "just gay" or whatever - and probably that is because they never saw a good Skarner or just can't play him themselves! =)
  
  So with this comprehensive Guide I will try to show you one possible way to play a competitive Jungle-Skarner.
  
  Of course I would like to get some feedback and tipps for upcoming Guides or whatever ;)

• Masteries + Runes

  So as I said above Skarner is a Jungler IMO - and should be played as one to be effective!Because of that fact there are specific runes you'll need:
  Reds: Greater Mark of Desolation More dmg obviously - helps your Jungling/Ganking A LOT!
  Yellows: Greater Seal of Resilience Needed to Jungle
  Blues: Greater Glyph of Shielding More sustain against AP and pretty stansard on Melees
  Quints: Greater Quintessence of Desolation More dmg obviously - helps your Jungling/Ganking A LOT!
  Masteries:

  Since we jungle it's pretty obvious that we need  (You may use  instead of Flash but your W gives enough Move-speed IMO).

• Skilling Order

  Finally. Here we go.
  Since this is a quick Guide I wont explain Gameplay and every itmes' pros and cons - a) you give it a shot and buy them or b) you dont. It's up to you but for me those items work.
  You need to understand that you have to analyze your and especially the oponents' Team-setup to create an effective item-build.
  
  Starting Items: Cloth Armor + 5 Health Potion The best way to jungle Skarner.
  Next trip back get Boots of Speed and go for  Wriggle's Lantern after.
  
  Early-Game goals
  1. Wriggle's Lantern
  2. Boots of Speed
  3. Heart of Gold
  4. Sheen
  
  Mid-Game goals
  5. Mercury's Treads
  6./7. Banshee's Veil or Randuin's Omen depending on what you need - but usually you'll get both. (If you dont need both for some reason - e.g. They have no or only 1 AP that isnt a threat to you or you feel like you need more dmg instead - go on with 8.)
  
  Late-Game goals
  8. Trinity Force The game usually should have ended yet - but thats what your aiming for.

  With Skarner:
  Start Wolves -> Wraith -> 2Golems -> B and get Boots/Pots -> Blue -> Try Gank -> continue clearing Jungle and buffs and try to gank.
