Abilities
Stone Skin |
| Its an OK passive, nothing too great and it gives OK stats in a team fight |
|
Crushing Blow |
| Best if used right after an Auto-Attack to get two attack in 1 attack time frame. It also can be used to nuke towers, and proc sheen. It reduces a targets armor by 30% |
|
Decoy |
| great for escaping, checking bushes or making the enemies waste their CD's |
|
Nimbus Strike |
| good range closer, and deals the best damage out of all of his abilities, and makes farming easier |
|
Cyclone |
Good for teamfights, try to knock everyone up. Level 1 does horrible damage (20 dps). levels 2 and 3 are much better(110 dps and 200 dps)
*****You can use flash or exhaust while this is active***** |

Introduction
This is my first guide on leaguecraft. I am used to mobafire, but I like leagcraft's tools so i figured i would post here instead.
I am a level 30 summoner with 400+ wins. I am not trying to brag, just trying to ensure you that I am not a level 10 trying to make a guide
-
Masteries + Runes
Masteries are ENTIRELY up to you. Personally, I like going 1/16/13 to get extra health, exhaust mastery and flash mastery. I have tried 21/9/0 and 9/21/0. I didn't like them as much. Also, please dont put points in utility to get
Greed 400 gold in a game is just not worth it.
Runes
Greater Mark of Desolation
Greater Seal of Defense
Greater Glyph of Shielding
Greater Quintessence of Fortitude
-
Summoner Abilities
Flash is a must on wukong, you can use it to get away after
Decoy, or you can use it to get in range for a
Nimbus Strike
I also take
Exhaust
-
Skilling Order
->
x2->
->
->![]()
Max
Nimbus Strike first, it has the best damage.
Max
Crushing Blow next,
Level up
Cyclone whenever possible,
Max
Decoy Last
Two points in
Crushing Blow keeps you at the same cooldown as
Nimbus Strike
-
Farming
Farming is rather simple, last hit. It is easiest to use
Nimbus Strike and follow up with a
Crushing Blow if you didnt it didnt last hit. After getting
Sheen last hitting becomes MUCH easier.

Tanky DPS Item Build
Start with
Regrowth Pendant and
Health Potion
First trip back, get
Philosopher's Stone and
Boots of Speed, also get a
Heart of Gold if possible. And buy
Health Potion x3 if you can.
If you didnt get
Heart of Gold on the first trip back, get it now. This is the beginning core of the build, you need the 5g/10 items because it is an expensive build.

Now, rush
Sheen, to increase your burst damage, followed by a
Giant's Belt

Combine your

Next get
Mercury's Treads and then get
Trinity Force. It is an amazing item for Wukong and adds alot of damage for him.

Now, You pick the order between these items,
,
and [item_icon=Force of Nature] or ![]()
Personally I would get
Atma's Impaler first, because it is the cheapest, and benefits from
Warmog's Armor.
Then I would get
Infinity Edge.
If the enemy team has alot of AP and causing trouble for me and my team I would get some magic resist
Please check how much magic resist you have already before going and buying magic resist items, Greater Glyph of Shielding, Mercury's Treads and Stone Skin is usually enough magic resist for me
If they have little CC , i will get [item=Force of Nature]
Otherwise I would get a
Banshee's Veil, and the health synergizes with
Atma's Impaler
If you need more damage, you can skip the magic resist and get a
The Bloodthirster or
The Black Cleaver

DPS item build with some survivability

If you can get both, get both.

Combine your
Giant's Belt into a
Sunfire Cape. This will give you a slight damage boost(35 dps) with some more survivability.
Now, pick up an
Infinity Edge.
If you need more survivability against casters, get a
Banshee's Veil. Otherwise, skip this step.
The last item i would get would be one of the following:
The Bloodthirster: if personally, i want a damage boost and want some lifesteal
The Black Cleaver: if there is an AD carry on my team, that doesn't have this yet.
Atma's Impaler: if you need more armor and crit, it gives about the same AD(not including BT stacks).
Ending Inventory (even though the game should never last this long):

Ganking or Team fighting
Since this is a tanky DPS build, you can initiate and I would not hesitate to do so. Initiate with
Nimbus Strike and follow with a
Decoy. Most enemies will blow all CD's on your clone. Next use either
Crushing Blow or if the enemies are running away or grouped up
Cyclone. Also, you can use
Flash to get in closer to land a
Nimbus Strike or
Cyclone.
I find it beneficial to not use my skills in quick succession due to the damage from
Trinity Force.
-
Killing Towers
Killing towers with Wukong is not just Auto-Attack. If there are minions around,
Nimbus Strike in. It will increase your Attack Speed and proc
Trinity Force. Then after 2-3 seconds use
Crushing Blow right after an Auto-Attack to proc another
Trinity Force

Conclusion
This concludes my guide on Wu Kong, and personally I love this champion. He is very fun to play and has really cool abilities.
Please let me know what you think! Also, if I need to explain more, just let me know.
