Introduction
Alright, let's get straight to the point. I'm an experienced Ashe-Player for some time now, I've gone through many rune-builds, many different mastery skill orders and e.g.
Now I want to share my aknowledge with you, so you can be a succesful Ashe-Player too.
In fact, this is the very first guide I do write, and I hope you will enjoy it and learn something.
This guy will be updated everyday, until he isn't finished. -
Pros / Cons
Pros:
- Amazing damage.
- Amazing farmer.
- One of the best gank-champs ingame.
- Ultimate for sure (initiating, chasing, eg.)
- Very good support.
- Best harasser ingame?
Cons:
- Squishy -> You will get focused often.
- Expensive.
- Not that fast movement speed.
- Requieres a good game. Atleast enough minion kills. -
Abilities
Focus
(Innate):
While out of combat, Ashe's critical strike chance increases by 3/6/9/12/15/18% every 3 seconds, removed after next attack.
How to use:
Pretty awkward passive. Ahem.
Early game it will help you for some good initiate, for example mid, ambush at level 1 for firstblood, together with Volley this is an excellent burst early game.
Late game is just holy-shit-amazing, because even if you are not on 100 % Critical chance, your critical chance will raise 18 % every 3 seconds. Just beautiful.
Best used (in Mid):
Wait in the left or right bush, until your enemy comes into mid, non-thinking that you're hiding in the bushes. When free way, charge out of the bush, hit him first with VOLLEY and then put on your first free crit.
(Mid will be harassed up to 75% with strong runes, 50% with normal runes.)Frost Shot
Frost Shot
(Toggle): Ashe's basic attacks slow her targets movement speed.
Mana: 8 Mana per attack
Cooldown: None
Slow Percentage: 15/20/25/30/35%
Slow Duration: 2 Seconds
How to use:
Not much to say, except this is an excellent slow in combination of 3-MS-Boots, but it does take mana so use it only if you are chasing.
Best used:
Wait till your enemy is near enough, or even did autoattack you, toggle your Frost Shot and give him and 5 hits, following him. (Thing is that creeps will do more damage the more time he spents in their area after hitting you - Frost Shot is greeting)Volley
Volley
(Active): Ashe fires 7 arrows in a cone. Volley also applies Ashe's current level of Frost Shot.
Damage: 40/50/60/70/80 (+) Physical Damage
Mana Cost: 60/60/60/60/60 Mana
Cooldown: 20/16/12/8/4 Seconds
How to use:
Spam it, if you got enough mana. Good to farm bigger creep waves and slow also, it does apply your current level of Frost Shot.
Best used:
See passive.Hawkshot
Hawkshot
(Passive): Ashe gains extra gold whenever she kills any unit.
(Active): Ashe animates a Hawk to scout for her, revealing terrain as it flies toward target location.
Mana Cost: No Cost
Cooldown: 60/60/60/60/60 Seconds
Extra Gold: 1/2/3/4/5 per killed minion
How to use:
The active of this gives you a flying hawk, like a moving Clairvoyance. Pretty useful, also known as the "Champion-in-the-bush-finder".
(Passive is pretty useless, dont mess with it)Enchanted Crystal Arrow
Enchanted Crystal Arrow
(Ultimate Active): Fires a large arrow in a straight line. If it hits an enemy champion, it will stun that champion for up to 3.5 seconds, based on the distance the arrow traveled, and deal 250/425/600 (+1) magic damage. Additionally, surrounding units take half the damage and are slowed.
Damage: 250/425/600 (+1) AP
Mana Cost: 150/150/150 Mana
Cooldown: 75/75/75 Seconds
Range: Across the map.
Stun Duration: Distance dependant - up to 3.5 Seconds
How to use:
Initiating, chasing, stunning, whatever. You just gotta love this. Learn to aim and learn to think how your enemies could run away to shoot it into their way. -
Items
Yes, we are getting instantly to the Item Builds.
Quickguide:
Start off withDoran's Blade.
It does not matter if you are laning or midlaning. You will stay ( if you can, of course )
until you farmed 2500 gold. I know, that 2000 gold is standard, but after 2500 gold you
will affordBoots of Speed, a brutally strong
B. F. Sword and even a 2nd
Doran's Blade (this gives you some extra AD, and some extra Survivability.
Farm again, go gank, get some kills, and build first of all yourInfinity Edge.
After Infinity Edge, you can decide between 3 pairs of boots.
-Boots of Swiftness -> Some movement speed, you chase to death everyone. (I prefer this boots)
-Mercury's Treads -> If you are playing against heavy AP / CC team.
-Berserker's Greaves -> Gives you a little attack speed (but I do not prefer those boots)
Your next core item will beZeal first, turning this as fast as possible into
Phantom Dancer
So your Core-Item-Build is
/
Different Builds:
The "Standard" Build that I am using and that I got pretty used to is this one:
Offensiv:
Against Tanks:
[item_icon=Madred's Bloodrazor]
Those are the 3 most used builds by me.
Quick Hints:
Sure, if they got alot of AP, you will getQuicksilver Sash and the good old
Banshee's Veil
Against heavy AD team,Atma's Impaler and
Thornmail can be useful.
Be sure to getHexdrinker when playing against Karthus.
Be sure to getSword of the Divine against Jax.
After finishingInfinity Edge be sure to have
Elixir of Agility with you until you finished your
Phantom Dancer

Summoner Abilities
Let's get over tho these ones.
What I highly recommend on Ashe is:
&
It's awesome to chase someone or just to escape. Gives you a great movement.
Thoughtful:
Will wheather save you, or give you a so-called free kill.
There's something nice you can do while playing mid. Shoot your ultimate from your base, when 3 or less creeps AND an enemy champion is pushing to stun him for a longer time ( single target ), and directly after you shot your ultimate, port to the tower. He/She will be stunned , tower will attack her and you got some free crits and Volley on her. Pretty fun.
Not recommended:
Father...Jesus...C'mon and heal my wounds - no, really, forget about this. Good to save you from firstblood, but shit late-game. Don't even think about that.
Same again. Wanna play Jesus? Instant reviving? Think of Jesus, he waited 3 days. Forget about this spell. Wait the 20 seconds.
Yup sure, go stealth baron and smite it off, steal it. Well, with a chance of 5% :P
No, you are farming enough, you won't be jungling, so don't take smite.
Get Quicksilver Sash.
[spell_icon=Fortify] Let tanks get this. Nothing for you.
Mana-runes will do. You won't have mana problems.
Little damage, nothing special. Forget about this.
[spell_icon=Rally] Seriously, if you are thinking about taking Rally then fucking leave this page right now, noob.
You got your hawk, E-Spell.

Masteries & Runes
Let's start off with the runes.
My common and most used rune-build for Ashe is this one:
x 3Greater Quintessence of Desolation Armor Penetration for Essences / a 3.33 ARP
x 9Greater Mark of Desolation Armor Penetration for Marks / a 1.66 ARP
x 9Greater Seal of Strength Attack Damage for Seals / a 0.43 AD
x 9Greater Glyph of Strength Attack Damage for Glyphs / a 0.28 AD
This together with your mastery-build will give you a plus of 6.4 AD and skilled masteries,
and a Armor Penetration of 31 at level 1. This breaks nearly EVERY armor ingame at level 1.
Don't worry about the mana, you can put the AD of the Seals into Manaregen, but you won't need it.
2nd Rune-Build:
x 1Greater Quintessence of Desolation Armor Penetration for Essences / a 3.33 ARP
x 2Greater Quintessence of Fortitude Health for Essences / a 26 Health
x 9Greater Mark of Desolation Armor Penetration for Marks / a 1.66 ARP
x 9Greater Seal of Resilience Armor for Seals / a 1.41 Armor
x 9Greater Glyph of Focus Cooldown Reduction for Glyphs/ a -0,65%
