Abilities
Focus |
| abuse this passive will lead you to large advantage in laning phase, repeated crit on the enemy champion will force him to use pots early and recall earlier, allowing you to gain more exp and gold while effectively zoning out the enemy. |
|
Frost Shot |
| the slow is amazing, it allows ashe to kite the enemy with no effort. and it also applies to volley which could be devasting in a team fight. |
|
Volley |
| prenerf volley was like godly, but its still spammable nuke if you have enough damage. |
|
Hawkshot |
| free clairvoyance every minute |
|
Enchanted Crystal Arrow |
| hit, it will change the teamfight dramatically. miss, your team is now screwed. learn to aim this ult, and use it wisely, don't use it whenever its off cooldown. i strongly suggest you play ezreal/lux a few games if you want to practice your skillshot skills. |

Runes
Greater Mark of Desolation x9
Armor penetration is amazing on ashe, it allows you to simply rip away the other team's armor in conjunction with another armor pen item.
Greater Seal of Clarity x9
Ashe has mana problems since we tend to not buy mp5 items on her, this is the solution to that.
Greater Glyph of Focus x9
Tell me a reason why you don't like CDR on ashe, its helps the cd on your ult as well as volley/hawkshot, resulting more damage output/utility you can do for your team.
Greater Quintessence of Fortitude x3
Ashe is squishy early game, even with the help of doran's blade, you will be weak against beefy enemies (e.g. morde). However with runes and doran, you will be as beefy as them and have an advantage over squishy enemies.

Masteries
21/0/9
This the set up i usually use, the masteries in offense is great for increasing your damage throughout the game, and the hp5/mp5 increase along with increased buff duration in utility mastery is amazing on ashe as she needs the regen bonus, as well as the increase buff duration which could make a difference in ganking/teamfights.

Summoner Abilities
+![]()
ashe has no escape ability whatsoever, therefore flash is a must on her if she needs to escape from ganks. ghost is great for long duration chasing/escaping, therefore its a very good choice for her too.
Note: If you can, try not to use your spells offensively, as you will need it much more on escaping rather than attacking. using your spells to attack also lets the enemy know that you have no way of escaping from them, therefore they could turn back and possibly kill you if you over extend to kill them.

Skilling Order
My personal skilling order
This guide is not to max out the utility on ashe's abilities, this order is to max out your damage out and allowing you and your team to set up possible kills. The gold per minion kill doesn't convince me enough to swap frostshot with hawkshot, since it hardly makes any difference similar to greed.

Items
Starting item
Doran's Blade
Its an excellent starter item for ashe, it gives the damage, the much needed health, as well as some lane staying power via lifesteal. Even you can no longer buy pots if you buy doran, i would still recommend doran over other starter items. Though recently i have been testing with boots+3 pots and the results are pretty nice.
Core
Boots of Swiftness
Infinity Edge
Phantom Dancer
ashe is slow, its not even funny, she is one of the slowest champion in game right now. boots of swiftness increases her speed greatly and it works well with phantom dancer. Infinity edge is just amazing on ashe, rushing it early-mid game will increase her damage out by a ton since your first shot when coming back to a lane will be 100% crit. phantom dancer is a good item to boost ashe's attack speed and it also gives ashe the needed crit chance for IE and the movement speed bonus.
Late Game
Defensive Items
Banshee's Veil
Guardian Angel
Quicksilver Sash
Hexdrinker
banshee is a pretty common choice on ashe, it can save her from devastating bursts from mages (e.g. veigar) as well as giving her more health/mana/magic res for her to survive in teamfights. guardian angel is a good choice but its not one of my favourites, if guardian angel allows you to choose whether to revive or not it will be an excellent item for everybody, but sadly it doesn't allow you to do that. quicksilver sash is just too good for its price. as far as i know, quicksilver sash and remove scurvey are the only item/spell ingame that can cleanse supress, leaving ww/urgot/malz frustrated when they see you wasting their precious ult and possibly turn a losing fight into a winning one. hexdrinker is important to survive karthus's ult or any other finisher spells.
Armor Penetration
Last Whisper
The Black Cleaver
Youmuu's Ghostblade
[item=stark's fervor]
Nothing to say much here except ghostblade. Rest are pretty obvious to understand why i put them here. Ghostblade is made for melee champions rather than ranged, however the stats that comes along with the active is awesome. ashe needs all of the stats in ghostblade and the active provides her a semi-highlander during the teamfights.
More DPS
The Bloodthirster
[item=madred's bloodrazor]
Atma's Impaler
Again the choices are pretty obvious, bloodthister is always a good choice for physical based champions. madreds is awesome for ripping health stackers apart. atmas will turn your banshee into a item that brings both defense and offense.
Miscellaneous
Sword of the Divine
Executioner's Calling
Elixir of Agility
Elixir of Fortitude
these items are usually used against certain champions. sword of the divine is a must item for countering jax, and executioner is godly against healers and mundo. elixirs are good endgames items when you either finished your full build for if you feel like the game will end before you finish your next item and you need some extra boosts. however don't buy them early/mid game as they will delay your core build.
