Table of Contents

  • Introduction

    v1.0.0.120::: EVELYNN TOOK SOME HUGE NERFS... WILL BE EXPLORING THESE NERFS AND UPDATING THE GUIDE AS I ADAPT TO THESE NERFS.
    * Hate Spike missile speed increased
    * Shadow Walk now applies a 3 second 30/35/40/45/50% slow instead of a stun
    * Malice and Spite
    o Passive heal reduced to 150/225/300 from 350/500/650
    o Attack speed bonus reduced to 25/50/75% from 50/75/100%

    ****UPDATE****
    I have determined that Eve is unplayable in a competitive format. Still possible to pubstomp low level games, but until the rumored 'Stealth Revamp" I would not recommend this champion.

    There are other ways to play Eve... I am going to focus on the way I play her and the way that is most successful for me and my play style (AD).

  • Masteries + Runes

    Masteries:
    21/9/0

    Runes:
    Marks: Greater Mark of Desolation x9 (15 armor pen)
    Seal: Greater Seal of Evasion x5 (+3.8% Dodge) Greater Seal of Focus x4 (+1.1% CDR)
    Glyph: Greater Glyph of Focus x9 (+5.85 CDR)
    Quints: Greater Quintessence of Alacrity x1 (+3.4% AS) Greater Quintessence of Celerity x2 (+4.68 CDR)
    (I've been experimenting with quints, between AS, HP, CDR and this is the setup I'm using currently.)

  • Summoner Abilities

  • Items

    This build is very easy and is the culmination of a LOT of trial and error. But if you follows my instructions and have even an ounce of killer instinct you will be swimming in kills in no time.

    I start the game off always with a Regrowth Pendant and Health Potion. Once I have enough I immediately port back to base and upgrade this into a Philosopher's Stone. Depending on how laning is going (see below for how to play correctly with this build) your first trip back is usually just the one stone.

    Second trip back I usually get a second Philosopher's Stone, and boots and a few extra pots.

    Following Boots (basic first, then Boots of Mobility), you will want to get an Avarice Blade, and a [item=Heart of Gold].

    Final trip back for core items you will buy a Sheen.

    Core:
    2x Philosopher's Stone
    1x Avarice Blade
    1x [item=Heart of Gold]
    1x Boots of Mobility
    1x Sheen

    ...

    From here on out, you should be roaming lanes and getting kills. It's very easy, the 2x Philosopher's Stones make your Health Regen and Mana Regen nuts, the BoM allow you to get between lanes quickly.

    If laning because your opponents in the other lanes are dead or pushed onto their tower, it's still really easy to get kills. You Harass by initiating while invis with an AUTO ATTACK, then you Ravage and run away. Any damage you may have taken is negated by insane regen, and it basically becomes a war of attrition. They will die, you will regen and LOL.

    You should aim to have your core complete by around the 15 minute mark. I usually aim for my next item around the 20-23 minute mark. Upgrade your Sheen into a Trinity Force. Now the lulz begin.

    Once you have Trinity Force, it's pretty much the beginning of the end for any squishes on their team. You should begin hunting them down with an unrelenting attitude... Follow them around and punish them.

    Once you have enough, upgrade your Avarice Blade into a Youmuu's Ghostblade. This is a key item and you should always use it to the best of it's ability. It's amazing with your ULT.

    Next, sell one of your Philosopher's Stone and buy an Infinity Edge. Then sell your [item=Heart of Gold] and buy your [item=Madred's Bloodrazor]. Finally Sell your last stone buy a The Bloodthirster.

    At this point you buy the 4x Timed consumables that augment you.

    If I feel like I'm having no problems killing the enemy I'll sometimes opt to buy a Guardian Angel instead of a Bloodthirster.

    Please note: A lot of people DESPISE stacking Gold Per 5 items, but we are not using them only for the GP5 (which does help offset our early game farming woes). Avarice makes sense because you will upgrade it to a Ghostblade. The two Philostones offer GREAT regen so you can stay out of base longer, and enables you to harass down enemies with hit and run tactics. Some games I'll upgrade one Philosopher's stone for the extra regen + tenacity if the enemy team has a lot of snares+stuns. The Health on Heart of Gold is just icing on the cake. You can skip the GP5 items (not recommended) and just rush trinity and the rest of the build. But honestly I've done it many many times both ways and this way just seems a lot better. It's what I personally use, but you're welcome to play however you want ^^.

  • Skilling Order

    Q = Hate Spike
    W = Shadow Walk (Invis)
    E = Ravage
    R = Ult

    Order:
    WEE if you're laning against someone that is very aggressive or squishy and you think the extra burst will give you the kill..

    WEW against someone you will have to harass several times before killing or a teamcomp with Healthregen, IE Alister.

    I usually stop W at lvl 3, to focus on E and R. Do not get Q until you are lvl 8 or until you have Sheen depending on how the game is going.

    R>E>Q>W.

  • Creep Jungling

    Once you have your core/sheen You should be able to quickly dispatch of Blue/Red buff, and 4 camps for easy money. Other than that NO NO NO NO NO. You should always try and maintain buffs, and post lvl 11 you can dragon as well.

  • Working in the team

    Your job is to pick off the squishies one by one and survive. Use your speed to SNIPE off people with insane burst. Even when enemies are escorting each other with oracles, it's easy. If attacking someone with an oracle, use your ghostblade and ult to gain insane movement speed, run straight into them to auto attack, if they react really fast and start running you can Ravage them to get the stun, spam your Q (hatespike) which doubles your attack. With a complete build you will have insane attack speed, and your reds will be 1,000+ a hit. I can usually burst down most people about 95% of the time before my initial stun wears off.

    After they die you gain 650 life and ESCAPE... most eve players at this point stay in the fight which is wrong. RUN. Get the kill, run out, GO INVIS, rinse and repeat, you just kill them one by one with your burst. Save Flash for escaping.

    Fear no Tower. And enemy standing near a tower and trying to port with 15-20% life is an EASY kill. Pop your ult or ghostblade or both depending on where in the game you are, even before you get your ult it's easy... Once you are augmented with movement speed, flash onto them while you are invis, stunlock them, kill them and run out, popping your refreshed ult on the way out for movement speed, should eat only 1 or 2 tower hits, which you will heal and regen through no problem.

    If however you DO have ghostblade and ult, you ult/ghostblade to run in, and flash out if needed (usually not even needed) Or if they see you coming (very difficult due to insane movement speed) and flash away, you can flash and catch them.

    Just remember your job is to kill and get out, you're an assassin, not a barbarian king.

  • Farming

    Farm Champions. Once you have a sheen/trinity/ you can 1 or 2 shot mobs so farm when applicable.
