Abilities

Reign of Anger

Your passive, gives you Fury generation. When you have 50 fury, it boosts the skill you use next (except ulti)...

Cull the Meek

Very good AoE skill, makes dmg+heals you and it generates fury very well...It is used for harassment early in the game.

Ruthless Predator

Deals a strong portion of dmg and stuns the target. The Devs made this skill to be used with fury, but other skills got boosted with the latest patch too.

Slice and Dice

Can be used in many ways(Jumping to target, Dmging it, etc.). When used with fury, it will lower targets armor.

Dominus

Your ULTIMATE! Makes you look HUGE and give you HP and a portion of MDmg to your enemies. It also generates fury (5 per second).

Introduction

Hello, I am a lvl 30 summoner from EU server, ingame name is GuardianSRB. Since Renekton got out, I've seen many ppl playing him in many different ways, but most of them sucked. So, I will show you now some imo good ways to play him...
Pros / Cons

Cons:
Can be focused and shut down early :/
Masteries + Runes

For masteries I use 23-6-1 (http://leaguecraft.com/masteries/3100440030330103030000000000001100000000000)
or 21-0-9 (http://leaguecraft.com/masteries/3100340030330100000000000000003140001000000)
^Those two are the DPS ones
This build I use for tankish Renekton:

You can always make up ur mind which one you will choose...

For runes I choose this setup:
Greater Mark of Desolation
Greater Seal of Evasion
Greater Glyph of Focus
Greater Quintessence of Desolation
This will allow you to take kills with ease even with your tank build. If you prefer, you can take some flat HP and MR per lvl.
Items

OK, so in this section I will show you the changes in builds:

Just to add this at start... I don't say that Spirit Visage is a bad item, it is really good on him for heals and CDr so if you like it it can always be your first item to make, however, I didn't find it really useful in my build, because I always get focused and with my tank build, I tanked almost entire enemy team, and with dps, just let the tank first and finish them 1 by 1. And for CDr I have runes+boots+ Youmuu's Ghostblade if I decide to make it in my dps build...And for trolls that write that Spirit Visage is a must have and don't think there is another way, just look at some Dr Mundo games, and you will notice that not all of them have Spirit Visage, especially if they are going for dps (the best Mundo way imo).

Tankish Renekton:
So, at the start you can start with these selections:
1. Boots of Speed +2 or 3 Health Potion
2. Doran's Shield for a little better deff
3. Doran's Blade for a little better dmg
If you went path no1, when you get to base your primary concern is to develop those boots into Ionian Boots of Lucidity
and then u can get option no2 or 3 if you want. Next thing in this build will be Warden's Mail which will become
Randuin's Omen when you get enough money. After the Omen, we would like to get some MRes, so, since we are
a melee dps as well, we would like to pull out some MS as well, and the item that combines those two is [item=Force of Nature]
( Negatron Cloak>2x Regrowth Pendant). After this I get Sunfire Cape and after it Guardian Angel.
You can sell Doran's item if you got any and add some more resistances.

Tank/dps hybrid:
So, at the start you can start with these selections:
1. Boots of Speed +2 or 3 Health Potion
2. Doran's Shield for a little better deff
3. Doran's Blade for a little better dmg
If you went path no1, when you get to base your primar concern is to develope those boots into Ionian Boots of Lucidity

DPS build:
So, at the start you can start with these selections:
1. Boots of Speed +2 or 3 Health Potion
2. Doran's Shield for a little better deff
3. Doran's Blade for a little better dmg
If you went path no1, when you get to base your primary concern is to develop those boots into Ionian Boots of Lucidity
and then u can get option no2 or 3 if you want. Now, you save up the money and buy yourself The Bloodthirster
(You can buy B.F.sword or the Vampiric Scepter first).After this you buy Phage> Frozen Mallet. If you
want, you can get Phage while you're making the The Bloodthirster.Next in the line would be The Black Cleaver.
After that you can get Last Whisper, Youmuu's Ghostblade, or which ever items you feel like you need.

Skilling Order

This is the skill build I use, with the priority of R>Q>W>E
Summoner Abilities

Ghost Good for chasing, running away, etc.
Exhaust Lowers the dmg output of the target + slows it...
Also viable:
Ignite Guess what is that for lol
Flash Good in many situations
Cleanse Good against CCs
Teleport Gets you back to your lane faster
Laning phase

There is an important thing I would like to mention. As a melee dps carry, you need to farm well during the laning phase. The bad thing that I saw at many players is that as soon as they get low on HP, they recall back to base loosing precious EXP and gold. Good thing about Renekton is that he can stay in the lane at low HP. If you play with my skill build you can heal yourself very well. Stay in the EXP range, and just out of the range for mages and champs like Jax and Xin Zhao. Don't attack minions, wait for them to come to your turret, get 50 fury and use Cull the Meek on them. 2-3 times like that and you will get good HP. Use this as much as possible.

Good laning partners for Renekton are pretty much champions with CCs. If your lane enemies are too scared and run away as soon as u come close, your Ruthless Predator just won't be enough for the kill. Also, I like to play in lane with Sona. Really great support champion. Heals+deff and harass+ArP are just great...Good partners are also healers, because with them in your lane you can stay for like 20 min if you want to.
Harassment during laning phase

So, when you get to lvl 4, you will have q,w and e skills ready. This is the basic idea:
1. Jump in with Slice and Dice, be sure to hit a least one minion to get Dice ready to use.
2. If there is only 1 champion ahead of you, use Ruthless Predator on him and then Cull the Meek. If there are 2 champions ahead, just use Cull the Meek.
3. Jump out with Slice and Dice (Dice part of the skill)
Pushing

When basic minion killer combo is to use Slice and Dice to harass them, go in the middle between melee and caster minions, use Cull the Meek and then Slice and Dice (Dice part) to make more dmg. With this you will easily kill minions and push while enemies are dead or busy with your teammates.
Turret dive

The thing I love to do and it's easy to do with Renekton, tnx to Slice and Dice. When you see low HP enemies chillin' by the turret, run into them or Slice and Dice to them, stun with Ruthless Predator, then Cull the Meek. If you're low HP or there are two enemies, you can always use Dominus for easier killing and tanking the turret...
Champions I don't rly like for enemies

Well, if your not fed enough to kill these in one combo, or not practiced enough with Renekton, these can get on your nerves:

He can blink away a lot, slow you and run like hell >.>

You can't rly kill Vlad on 1v1 if he knows what he is doing, so that becomes annoying for you...

Snare+slow=annoying (+if has flash) -.-

She is not rly a problem (when she uses ulti, u stun), but it is most annoying when she blinks on incomming minion and gets away -.-

Every good played Rammus is bad Rammus for you, since he can watch you attacking him with your physical
dmg and just say "That tickles" and then use skill and give you back the dmg >.>

Ok,if you don't hate to play against him, then I think you didn't play against him...Time bomb is annoying, slows and speed ups are also annoying, and his ulti... You can only hope that he is a noob if you see him on the loading screen.
