  • Introduction

This is my first guide I've ever written. Be gentle with me, community. I think rene is a great champion and very fun. I always saw people lane with him and do successful. But I wanted to mix things up and go into the jungle. Rene isn't an amazing jungler, but he is decent at it. His ganks aren't as greak as Warwick's or Rammus' but they are decent. But here is my very first guide I've ever written.

  • Abilities

    Reign of Anger
New mechanic: fury. Empowers your skills once you get 50 fury accumulated.

    Cull the Meek
Main jungle skill. heals you for 10% of the damage done. When used with 50 fury, you heal for 15% and your damage is amplified.

    Ruthless Predator
Great jungle skill. Has a .75 second stun and attacks twice applying on-hit effects. When used with 50 fury, 3 attacks are made and the stun is 1.5 seconds

    Slice and Dice
Useless for the jungle. But if you want to gank, I suggest investing one point into it.

Great ult in my opinion. You can trick someone into committing to you then pop you ult. (You can also carry and pop an [item=Elixer of Fortitude] for more bonus HP when your in a tough situation)

  • Creep Jungling

My jungle pattern depends on the enemy team.

    With enemy team jungler:
I start at enemy wraiths and hope they don't go there. Smite the larger one and then finish off the smaller ones. If the enemy team spots you before you can finish any of the smaller ones, don't worry about it, you only needed the larger one.

Then I head to the Wolf camp. Not a big deal if you didn't accumulate any fury from the wraiths but target the larger wolf first then finish the smaller ones.

From the wolves, I go to our wraiths. Start off by using Cull in the middle of the camp first. Then use Ruthless Predator on the larger one.

From wraiths to small golems. After killing the golems, head back to the fountain.

After going back, you should be able to buy a Vampiric Scepter and maybe one more health potion.

Head to red buff. Try to get positioning to where you can hit the 3 mobs.

I don't find blue buff necessary but it always helps I suppose. I wouldn't recommend getting it before red, however.

    Without enemy jungler:

Start at the small golems. Pop your Elixer right as the golems appear. Smite/Ruthless predator the first golem and go to town on the second.

After golems, Go to Friendly wraiths. You should be level 2 so you can use Cull the Meek in the middle of the camp. Use ruthless predator on the larger wraith.

Head to wolves. Keep up the same Cull the meek and ruthless predator combo.

You should be level 2 and 1 kill short of level 3 unless your speced fully into [mastery=awareness]

If you are level two still, head to the enemy wraiths and kill those.

Finally head to the enemy small golems then blue pill.

pick up the vampiric scepter and head to red buff.

  • Items

I start the game with an [item=Elixer of Fortitude] and [item=Health Potions] x6.

After going back from the first jungle trip, you should have at least one health potion remaining. You should also have enough money to purchase Vampiric Scepter and maybe another potion.

Next, save enough money for Ionian Boots of Lucidity

You can take two paths from the boots: rush blood thirster or get ghost blade. Both items are good for the gator.

After one of those two, I pick up a Phage

Depending on how well your game is going, you can go for Phantom Dancer Guardian Angel or Warmog's Armor

Complete your Frozen Mallet and that should be all you need. Build according to the enemy team.

  • Masteries + Runes

Masteries: I go 21/3/6. Classic 21 but spec into Hardiness

Spec into improved ghost. I put three more points into [mastery=Perseverence]

Lastly, put two points into Awareness.

    For my runes I use:
    Greater Quintessence of Desolation x3
    Greater Mark of Desolation x9
    Greater Seal of Resilience x9
    Greater Glyph of Alacrity x9

  • Summoner Abilities

    Ghost Smite enough said.

Ghost is you main escape mechanism. And is also great for ganking.

Smite is just a jungle necessity. that is all.

  • Pros / Cons

    -able to jungle
    -decent ganker
    -Multiple build paths

    -jungle easily shut down
    -not as durable as thought

  • Thanks

Yes, I know this is a rough guide but I was pleased with it since it's my first one. I will try updating this as I have not fulling touched on every aspect (I don't think). But thanks for reading my guide.
