Introduction
Hello everyone. Since I'm not able to play for the time being, I decided I'd write a guide for one of my favorite champions - Yes I'm talking about Sivir.
Sivir is a great damage dealer, but is often underrated. I often get teammates who quits on the selection screen because "Lol 60 dmg lvl 5 champion sivir". And if you go into the battle with those, they will do everything to prove they were right and flame you afterwards. (Hi report button).
You should know when playing Sivir that she is extremely team dependant. You NEED a tank on the team to take the damage so you don't get focused while you tear their team apart. Lately, I've got into lots of matches with DPS only characters... If so, make sure there's someone squishier than you who will get focused first ;-)
I am not pretending to create the best Sivir guide here. I'm just posting this one as the once I follow in my games.
rawpower405 has got a great guide here: http://leaguecraft.com/strategies/guide/7402-sivir-unfortunately-underrated-and-underused.xhtml. I started with his, and modified it to my taste. -
Masteries + Runes
Basically, I go 0/21/9 because you are squishy and need to minimise the damage you take. Honestly, it's up to you, but I like this setup.
As for runes, I go with
Greater Quintessence of Fortitude x 3
Greater Mark of Desolation x 9
Greater Seal of Evasion x 4
Greater Seal of Fortitude x 5
Greater Glyph of Replenishment x 9
You can have full dodge Seals, and once again, it's up to you. -
Summoner Abilities
Teleport is a MUST. Don't argue. Awesome map control, allows push/anti-push.
I usually go withHeal. But
Exhaust,
Flash are good too. I'd prefer Flash over Exhaust though.
Ghost could be useful, but since you have
On The Hunt, it's a bit redundant.
-
Skill Order
I usually go
1.Boomerang Blade
2.Ricochet or
Spell Shield depending on who you're laning against.
3. The other spell you didn't take above
Then I max out either Ricochet or Boomerang Blade (9 times out of 10 Ricochet though). Then Spell shield is next on the list.
Once you get yourManamune, you can leave your Ricochet on forever (except at turrets when there's a champion nearby).
No need to mention your ultimate should be maxed out whenever available... -
Items
This is the build order I follow.
Start off withMeki Pendant and
Health Potion x 2
When you first bluepill, getTear of the Goddess,
Boots of Speed,
Vampiric Scepter and some potions. If you are doing really good, you can grab your
Manamune.
Once your team gets the first turret down, you can finish yourManamune, and your boots.
Berserker's Greaves
Ninja Tabi and
Mercury's Treads are viable. It all depends on the opposing team.
Next item on your list isSword of the Divine. This gives you the boost in speed you'll need for the time being. Take a look at its active. This makes your opponents wonder who you managed a double/triple kill at this point of the game.
Frozen Mallet is something I tend to complete next since it provides health and a nice passive (Hi, you can't escape now), but sometimes, you might want to go with a
Banshee's Veil for survivability.
Depending on the opposing team and yours, pick out the items you need from this list:
[Item=Stark's Fervor] Simply awesome. Gives attack speed and lifesteal to your mates, and reduces the armor of opponents.
The Bloodthirster More damage. More Lifesteal. Kill kill kill. You can even have 2 of those.
[Item=Madred's Bloodrazor] Rape
The Black Cleaver Awesome passive. 75 damage is nothing to laugh at either.
Sword of the Occult Having a good game? Have some fun!
If you manage to get 3 of the above items, end-game you're able to do pentakills. I only managed quadra-kills - thanks to the last one flashing away once, and getting killed by teammates the other time.
Items I do NOT want.
Warmog's Armor Health? At the cost of damage? No thanks. Do NOT justify the use of
Atma's Impaler with it. You got better things to do with your money.

How to play with this
Do not forget you're an AOE champion. You're asking why? Take a look at your ricochet and your attack speed. You can decimate a whole creep wave in 2 or 3 hits. In team fights, with Armor Penetration you deal damage to the WHOLE team facing you.
When laning, don't be afraid to start mid. You will loathe those with LOTS of CC at first, but Spell shield will save your fine ass here (Do not forget to thank them for the mana).
Fire your Boomerang blade a few times DIRECTLY at them. You'll notice where they tend to move to evade. Once you grab the pattern, throw your blade in the direction they'll run.
Champions vs you mid will suffer once you get to level 4 or 5 : Your Ricochet will not only decimate the creeps, but it will ALSO hit them if they're around. Having -25HP disappearing every now and then will leave them at low health, and they won't want to come near, fearing getting killed. If they do, you have your Spell shield, dodge, andHeal. You will usually dominate the mid. Exceptions are Mordekaiser. Lux can be a real ***** too, since she can snare and slow you.
Be careful of Ashe. Each time I've laned vs them, they fired theirEnchanted Crystal Arrow in your face at close range. Since it's very fast, you can very rarely put up your shield to protect yourself.
I once laned vs a Sivir using rawpower405's updated guide. He/she laughed at my stuff "LOL MANAMUNE ON SIVIR NOOB". Sure, Sivir is not a burst damage champion, but end game, she is really deadly (Triple kill in your face *****! I'm dancing over your body now).
Do not forget: Your primary job is to get as many towers down as possible. You can farm EXTREMELY well, and you won't need kills as some other champions. If another of your mates needs a kill, let him have it. Unless it's your ricochet who gets it (but that, you cannot control).
If in team fights someone is running away at low health, and one of his mate is following him but you can't catch up with the first one, HIT THE ONE NEAREST TO YOU and let the second one have some nice Ricochet in his face.
What you should always remember is to activate yourSword of the Divine in team fights. 30 Armor Penetration = Hi damage.
Be careful of burst damage champions... They'll burst a new hole in places your ragged clothes cover... -
Summary
Sivir is a deadly champion. But you need a good team with you, and by that, I mean a team who's aware of your damage dealing abilities, and not only skilled players. You're a carry, and not a support. Let them know this. And if you have stupid team mates, then, go around having some fun and enjoy yourself. 500+ creep kills is a record to break in my case.
Feel free to comment.
Oh and you may call me Mistress.
