  • Introduction

    Ok, I'm sick and tired of seeing all the Lux players, and none of them know how to play her. Every time I try to select her in matchmaking, i get yelled at, told she's worthless, etc. I've even had ppl say that they never win with a Lux, and I have to convince them I'm good with her.
    Ok, enough ranting. This is a guide on how to play lux as a harasser, a last hitter, and the most annoying member of your team. Follow it, and i guarantee, the enemy will scream at you.

    Also, this is a very effective build for mid-laning. I know, most teams will scream at you to get the hell outta the mid, nub. But with her amazing range and CC, she's perfect.

    This is my first guide, though i'll be making a Sona and Mordekaiser later on, and is currently a work in progress. Feel free to leave comments, give it the old 'thumbs up', etc. thx! And happy headshotting!

  • Abilities

    really nice early to mid. Helps with last hits when used with singularity

    Light Binding
    Her awesome bind. At high lvl, decent dmg. otherwise, use for ganking, last hitting, and escapes. I use it constantly to avoid ganks

    Prismatic Barrier
    An ok spell. Really doesn't block much dmg. Usefull for running, or keeping an ally alive long enough for a kill

    Lucent Singularity
    bread and butter farming technique. at lv 3, will take any creeps down enough to one-hit with the passive, lv5 will straight up kill em

    [spell=Finales Funkeln]
    The greatest special ever. Scales amazing with AP. By endgame, should do 1k+ dmg, on a 24sec cooldown with cdr. And, u get to yell headshot when u kill with it. priceless

  • Masteries + Runes

    Ok, Standard caster masteries.

    I go with HP quints,
    AP Glyphs,
    Magic Pen Marks,
    and Mana Regen/per level Seals

  • Items

    Ok, I know, you all skipped right through all the other crap just to see the items. I've done the same thing. I'll try to explain why i choose each.

    I start with [item=Meki Pendant] and Health Potion

    Asap, upgrade the pendant into Tear of the Goddess

    then get boots, and upgrade into Mercury's Treads or [item=Sorceror's Shoes], depending on needs

    Next upgrade the tear into Archangel's Staff, starting with Blasting Wand

    Ok, now get either [item=Zhonya's Ring] or Void Staff depending on whether the enemy is stacking MR

    Now get whichever one you didn't.
    Also, substitute [item=Rylai's Scepter] for zhonya's if you're getting owned

    Ok, should be either over or late game. Now get Deathfire Grasp for the cdr and ap. With this and blue buff, your Laser will now be at 24 sec. cooldown
    (also, if you feel the need for cdr earlier, get this after the archangel. I do that from time to time)

    Lastly, to finish off the build, get either Lich Bane or another survivability item, like Banshee's Veil

  • Skilling Order

    I get the bind, then AOE. the shield is more or less useless, because with your range, and keep-away tactics, you should not be getting hit.

  • Summoner Abilities

    Ok, she's extremely mana intensive, especially early on. I almost always take Clarity

    If you're mid, or want to help support other lanes, take Teleport or Ghost

    Other viable options are Flash and Ignite
